My husband and I attended a baby seminar which also provided information on financial planning. After listening to the talk, we decided that we needed someone to assist us on certain financial matters.

Shawn was very helpful in providing all the different financial products from various companies, making comparisons for us and explaining the pros and cons, like a one stop service.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes definitely. Shawn ensured that it was within our financial means when we selected the different financial products for our needs.

Why did you look for a financial consultant?

2 events that required some useful advice:
a) marriage: concerned with amount of coverage for myself once I start my new family with my spouse and future children. needed advice for CPF investment as well.
b) parents' retirement planning: concerned with their existing insurances coverage, especially hospitalisation and medical, and whether they have enough savings and are adequately protected to live comfortably for the next 10 to 20 years

How did Shawn Yap help you?

A thorough comparison between similar/better products than my current portfolio, allowing me to get better coverage without spending too much.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Broadens my knowledge on insurance products and applying the correct decision making factors when selecting a product. Recommendations were suitable and is in line with my goals.
